The Scrolling Otter started in 2020, after 20 years of making annual ornaments for family and friends. The ornaments have evolved from simple, single-wood pieces of the early days to the multi-wood creations of today. 

The designs started with sketches and cardboard templates. Each ornament piece is cut on a scroll saw by hand, no Computer Aided Cutting. Individual pieces are glued together, then each ornament is sanded and tung oil applied.
